HIMSS AsiaPac '09

HIMSS AsiaPac '09, international conference and exibition on Medical Informatics was held on 24th to 27th February 2009, at Kuala Lampur City Centre, Malaysia. HISSL exteded its assistance to the HIMSS AsiaPac '09 as a partner organization.

HISSL Annual Academic Sessions -2008

Annual Academic Sessions of HISSL for the year 2008 was held at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine auditorium on Saturday 26^th of July 2008.

HISSL and APAMI

HISSL was admitted as a full member of APAMI at the annual meeting of Asia Pacific Association of Medical Informatics held in Taiwan in October 1999, opening opportunities for members of the HISSL to interact with others interested in Health Informatics from countries in the Asia Pacific region.
Dr. Vajira H. W. Dissanayake represented the HISSL at APAMI–MIC in Hong Kong in September 2002 and for the first time represented HISSL at an APAMI–AGM.
Dr. Kumara Mendis is serving in the Steering Committee of APAMI - 2003 to be held in Seoul, South Korea in 2003 October.
Prof. Yun S. Kwak, President elect APAMI attended the WONCA–MESAR meeting in Colombo to deliver a guest lecture on 8th November 2002 on an invitation from the local organising committee that was channeled to him through HISSL.
